Set during the Tang Dynasty, Xiuying, an intelligent and serious lady, tried to enter the palace to be with her sister, Aihan, who is the main wife of the third prince, by attending the concubine selection of the legitimate Prince. She accidentally went to a different Concubine selection and ended up being chosen as the second wife of Prince Wei, her sister’s husband. Xiuying was happy to be reunited with her sister again.
